Ever since I was younger I’ve always been extremely creative and would take a colouring book pretty much everywhere I went!

I remember my parents taking me to McDonald’s when I was about three years old and there were colouring sheets which could be entered into a competition. So I took mine home and added lots of glitter and ribbons and a few weeks later my dad got a call saying I had won the competition!

I also used to love using cardboard, yoghurt pots and pretty much anything you could find in our recycling bin to make wacky and wonderful inventions, from teddy bunk beds to robots and doll houses, and of course adding paint and glitter.

When my parents got a computer when I was around age four, I found my love for digital illustration on Microsoft Paint. I used to create illustrations for my family and found out how to print my full colour page creations much to my parents’ dismay!

how it's going

My favourite subjects in school were always the creative ones and I went on to take Art at GCSE which led me to Graphic Design and Photography at college. After finishing my A Levels with an A in Graphic Design and one of three A*s awarded in my year for Photography, I went on to study Graphic Design at Manchester Metropolitan University .

University was where I really started to develop my own style and it's when I realised that I had a passion for branding and illustration projects. In February 2021 I had my graduation and celebrated my 2:1! Before I graduated, I was lucky enough to have accepted my first design role as a Junior Designer and Illustrator at Yappy.com and had a year and a half of amazing experiences and opportunities there! My product designs were bought by customers and my illustrations were used across all social media platforms, with my dinosaur bandana design featured on the Yappy TikTok account which has now gained 52.4K likes and 876.0K views with the official Jurassic Park Instagram account commenting on the video!
